Giganthemum Poppy (Papaver somniferum)

Giganthemum poppies bear the largest seed heads of all the somniferum varieties out there.  Given a sunny bed with deep moist soil, they can reach sizes as large as a tennis ball. Dried pods can be used for floral arrangements, while the seed can be used in baking. Petals are pink with purple-crossed interiors
