Sugar Maple (Potted)

Sugar maple (Acer saccharum) is our national tree, whose leaf is internationally recognized as a Canadian symbol.  It is also the main species used in maple syrup production.   Long-lived and cold hardy, it is native to southeastern Canada and much of the northeastern United States.
